Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily configuration tasks and respond to end-user support requests.
  • Perform configuration changes using a GUI-based system, with occasional modifications to configuration files.
  • Support both configuration changes and bug fixes within the system.
  • Conduct a basic level of investigation for reported bugs and escalate complex issues to the appropriate second-level support team with assistance from the team.
  • Work on long-term projects related to reporting and data analysis.
  • Assist in creating new reports or enhancing existing ones.
Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience of internal technical support, working directly with end user problems and troubleshooting.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with system configuration and analysis, administering the configuration of a system on a daily basis for business operations. This includes learning and understanding the GUI configuration environment for the system, with potential tasks involving updating language files and simple database updates.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with SQL, accessing an SQL database (PostGIS) and querying/updating data.
  • 1 to 3 years of testing experience including testing new functionality and debugging/assisting in resolution.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Documentation with the ability to write clear and concise procedures for the above work.
