Job Title: Cold Calling Specialist / Appointment Setter

Location: Remote (Ability to work within specified time zones as needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Cold Calling Specialist / Appointment Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and resilient, with a strong ability to engage prospects over the phone. You will be responsible for making high-volume outbound calls, introducing products or services, qualifying leads, and setting up appointments for the sales team. Success in this role requires persistence, confidence, and a results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Cold Calling & Lead Engagement
    • Conduct high-volume outbound calls (B2B or B2C) to potential clients using a structured call list.

    • Introduce products and services, build rapport, and engage with prospects professionally.

    • Ask relevant questions to qualify prospects and identify potential sales opportunities.

    • Use scripts effectively while maintaining a natural and engaging conversation.


  • Appointment Setting & Lead Qualification
    • Set qualified appointments for the sales team, ensuring they meet target criteria.

    • Maintain accurate notes in the CRM regarding prospect interactions.

    • Follow up with leads who have shown interest but have not yet committed.

    • Overcome objections professionally and pivot conversations toward value-driven solutions.


  • CRM Management & Reporting
    • Log all interactions in the CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, etc.), ensuring detailed record-keeping.

    • Update and maintain lead data, call status, and appointment schedules.

    • Monitor and track conversion rates, call effectiveness, and set appointment goals.

    • Provide feedback on successful scripts and identify opportunities for improvement.



Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in outbound cold calling, telemarketing, or appointment setting.

  • Fluent English with excellent verbal communication skills, minimal to no accent.

  • Experience using dialers, phone systems, and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, etc.).

  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills with a persuasive and confident approach.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment while maintaining professionalism.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accurate data tracking in the CRM.

  • Resilient, self-motivated, and able to handle rejection positively.


Nice to Haves

  • Previous experience in B2B or B2C sales, lead generation, or telemarketing.

  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach automation, and prospecting tools.

  • Spanish fluency (preferred for LATAM-based clients).

  • Prior experience in technology, SaaS, financial services, or real estate industries.
