A skilled and detail-oriented remote Virtual Assistant is sought to assist with the marking of assessments in the Occupational Learning space. This is a fully remote, independent contracting role that offers flexibility, initially requiring approximately 4-5 hours per week, thereafter, on an ongoing needs basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Occupational Learning sector and the ability to efficiently assess and provide feedback on learner assessments.
Responsibilities:
Marking assessments for learners in the Occupational Learning space, ensuring they meet required standards and compliance.
Reviewing and grading written submissions, practical tasks, and other assessment materials.
Providing constructive feedback to learners on their performance and areas for improvement.
Ensuring that assessments are aligned with the relevant curriculum, assessment guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Collaborating with other team members, as needed, to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling learner information and assessment results.
Requirements
Relevant experience in the Occupational Learning or Education space.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other digital assessment platforms is advantageous.
Familiarity with QCTO, NQF standards and SETA regulations in the context of Occupational Learning.
Proven experience in marking assessments within the Occupational Learning field.
Familiarity with the structure and requirements of Occupational Learning qualifications, skills programmes, or assessments.
Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
Proficiency in using Adobe PDF documents, online platforms and tools for marking and communication.
Availability to work on an as-and-when-required basis.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
