Job description

This is a remote position.

An accounting firm, focused on delivering exceptional service to clients is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented part-time, remote Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant for 10 - 12 hours a week. In this role, you will provide support with ensuring financial compliance and administrative tasks.


Responsibilities:
  • Ensure CIPC compliance, including Annual Returns, BO Submission, Deregistration and Reinstatement, etc.
  • Ensure SARS & Tax compliance, such as Appointment of Registered Representative with SARS and handling de-registrations.
  • Capturing transactions on Excel & Accounting software.
  • Providing general admin support and additional duties as required.


Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in finance and/or administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of CIPC and SARS compliance.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and accounting software. Experience with Xero, Quickbooks, Zoho advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained in advanced accounting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
