SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Senior Project Manager will join the implementation team at Gerent who shares our vision of bringing the power of cloud computing to enterprises. Senior Project Managers are experienced professionals on our project teams responsible for overseeing the production of deliverables. They work closely with various technical and non-technical team members, managing and running more complex, enterprise and strategic technical projects. Our Senior Project Managers are subject matter experts who actively participate on the project, scoping, contracts review, knowledge transfer, and budget management.tasked for overseeing the production of deliverables, working closely with various technical and non-technical team members, managing and running more complex and strategic technical projects.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage project plans; monitor and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed; and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success
Manage day-to-day execution of project implementations. Assist with the planning, tracking, documentation and status updates for the project
Exercise solid project leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytic skills
Facilitate requirements gathering and assist with the creation of project deliverables, as needed
Ability to provide hands on configuration and customization of the Salesforce product in all declarative tasks would be nice to have
Define and manage the stage gate reviews during the projects to meet the compliance standards that are established
Responsible for managing the programs as outlined in the SOW and mitigating the risk. In the case of any deviations from the original SOW, PMs are responsible for working with the delivery leadership to raise the appropriate Change Orders
Adopt a standardized development lifecycle methodology for all projects
Identify opportunities to leverage the Salesforce platform and various integration tools
Participate in end to end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication and change management
Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client project stakeholders by providing vision and future product roadmapping
Work well with customers, internal technology and product teams to articulate issues and communicate effectively
Work independently, prioritize, and solve problems proactively
Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client project stakeholders by providing vision and future product roadmap
Complete Trailheads, Salesforce Certification on the following within 12 months of joining:
o Certification path TBD with management
Qualifications:
Sr. PM candidates are required to have the following:
Experience managing large teams of 10-20 resources on multiple workstreams
Experience with offshore team management
Experience with complex integration and data migration engagements
Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure
Experience with a hybrid delivery model (waterfall/agile hybrid)
Manage and communicate with remote developers during non-traditional business hours
Experience implementing Medium and Enterprise scale Salesforce solutions
Multiple Salesforce.com Certifications (Admin, Consultant, Developer, Architect)
Demonstrated project leadership skills, with direct responsibility for managing project teams, budget and schedule
● Demonstrated history of delivering high quality results on schedule and within budget.
Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to weigh business and technical requirements to produce project plans and estimates
Extensive external consulting experience, including CRM consulting; and hands-on experience with Salesforce
Hands on ability in configuration and declarative development
Strong consultative, budget management, and resource management skills
Sr. PM candidates with the following would be a plus:
Experience working in Financial Services (Banking, Lending and/or Wealth), Insurance, and/or Healthcare (Payer or Provider)
Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and/or Salesforce Health Cloud
Experience working for another Salesforce SI
Prior experience as a Salesforce Implementation Consultant
PMP Certification
CSM Certification
