Our team is seeking an experienced and creative solution architect to work in a rapid development environment with multiple internal customers throughout the business. 

Workday Scheduling and Absence Solution Architect is a key technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Workday's Scheduling and Absence solutions for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of functional and technical expertise and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical partners. You will establish deep cross-functional relationships to ensure solutions and initiatives are effectively designed and implemented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and configure of Workday Scheduling and Absence solutions to meet the organization's unique requirements.

  • Collaborate with business leaders to gather and document detailed requirements for scheduling and absence management.

  • Configure Workday's Scheduling and Absence modules, including, leave management, and shift scheduling.

  • Provides guidance and subject matter expertise on platform capabilities and limitations.

  • Lead brainstorming and requirements gathering workshops to assist and co-design processes.

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in HR, advocating for the adoption of Workday functionality where appropriate.

  • Partner with HR Tech leadership on escalations and cross-functional impacts

  • Actively participate in Workday's semi-annual release process, working with business teams to address critical impacts and upcoming enhancement opportunities. 

  • In-depth awareness of new and planned Workday functionality, actively engaging with the Workday Community to prepare and communicate changes that could impact business.

  • Maintain service delivery excellence including but not limited to a list of key deliverables and timelines across projects/initiatives with dependencies and proactively communicate progress to a variety of stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Workday Expertise: 5+ years of experience implementing and configuring Workday, with a strong focus on Scheduling and Absence modules.

  • Deep understanding of the Workday foundations across different modules 

  • In-depth understanding of HR domain and processes.

  • Project management and familiarity with Agile methodology

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

  • Workday HCM or Scheduling and Absence certifications are preferred.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100K - $700K.
