A rapidly growing, VC-backed start-up is looking for a Business Development Specialist to expand its presence in the food & beverage and hospitality sectors. This company bridges the gap between hospitality venues and cutting-edge digital marketing, helping bars and restaurants maximize revenue through innovative, zero-cost digital screens and advertising solutions.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or professionals with up to two years of experience who are eager to develop their sales and business development skills.

The Business Development Specialist will work directly with restaurant, bar, and hotel owners to introduce data-driven marketing technology and drive revenue growth. This role is ideal for a sales-driven professional who excels in building relationships and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and reach out to potential hospitality partners in assigned territories.
  • Develop a pipeline of high-value restaurant and bar partnerships.
  • Deliver compelling in-person presentations and product demos.
  • Manage the sales process from initial outreach to onboarding and long-term account management.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure client success.
What They’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years of sales experience preferred (but not required).
  • Passion for tech sales and business development.
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with business owners.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Willingness to make 12–15 in-person visits daily to local businesses.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary + uncapped commission.
  • Start with 25 hours/week, with potential to move to 40 hours/week based on performance.
  • Expected earnings of $42K+ annually, with top performers exceeding $90K.
  • Stipend for dining & transportation while meeting clients.

Pay: $42,000 - $90,000 per year
