Job description

Regulatory Affairs Specialist
100% remote
4-5 months slight potential to extend by a few weeks
Tuesday-Thursday
8am-4pm Central Time Zone 20 -30 hours a week, may work 40 hours however regular schedule will be between the 20-30 hours

Responsibilities: Provide support in regulatory related product life-cycle review activities, preparation of regulatory documentation and ensuring compliance with all regulations of  Pet Nutrition products.

 

Creating Substantiation Document

  • Utilizing multiple software systems (SAP, Veeva, Excel) to find and record packaging data to place all findings into one document for reference.
  • Calling out differences from existing to new packaging.
  • Veeva Technical Input utilizing Veeva software to create those regulatory sections of packaging and placing them on correct panels for the copy sheet creation.
  • Regulatory Formula Creation utilizing Excel to create a regulatory formula for use in global dossier documents.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, policy, natural sciences or related technical field
  • 1-3 years of regulatory experience, preferably with completing official regulatory documentation
  • Pet Food industry experience or a technical background in: Regulatory Science, Quality Assurance,
  • Product Development, Laboratory Sciences, veterinary/animal clinic experience, or similar work experience.
  • Ability to focus on detail while meeting critical timelines
  • Ability to read, speak and write a second language a plus
  • Troubleshooting and ownership is preferred.
