Marketing Executive (FTC)
Reports to: Head of Energy Marketing (within Global Marketing Team)

Overview
At World Kinect, our marketing efforts are sharply focused on driving organic growth by generating new business, keeping profitable customers, and cross-selling to existing accounts.
The Marketing Executive will support the marketing activities within our Energy Services business lines, focusing on key markets and stakeholders in the US, UK, and EMEA.
The successful candidate will be a talented generalist B2B marketer with strong strategic acumen, comfortable working both upper- and mid-funnel. This includes generating and qualifying leads through marketing campaigns and initiatives, working closely with sales colleagues to manage these opportunities through to close, measuring returns at every stage.
The role requires the individual to be numerate and commercially aware, advocating the solution-selling method, and able to articulate how our products and services solve key customer pain points.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
- Collaborate with the Head of Energy Marketing, commercial sales leads, and global marketing team to develop our annual marketing plan, aligning with business priorities and growth plans.
Marketing Execution and Management
- Lead and manage the delivery of targeted cross-channel campaigns with internal marketing operations and external agencies to generate new business, increase customer retention, and cross-sell key products and services.
- Define, create, execute, and revise targeted multichannel campaigns to engage and educate our customer base and warm-up leads.
- Execute diverse digital strategies across various channels (SEO, PPC, social media, online events).
- Support exhibitions and tradeshows, including developing show materials, event promotion, lead management, and attendance when needed.
- Develop strategies and campaigns with our Third-Party Channel Development lead to maximize channel partnership opportunities and promote our product and service portfolio.
Customer Experience and Brand Management
- Contribute to brand positioning and function as a brand champion, continually improving our brand at key customer touchpoints.
- Represent the customer, assessing and understanding key pain points, and supporting the implementation of our Branded Customer Experience vision and plan.
- Capture, share and implement Customer and Market Insight’s into marketing planning.
- Work with internal analytics teams to design and evolve actionable customer segmentations, fostering a robust understanding of our customers and how to better serve them.
- Stay current with trends in our key lines of business and market segments.
Sales Enablement
- Collaborate across business functions to support sales teams in selling more effectively.
Communication and Presentations
- Represent marketing at stakeholder meetings, both in person and virtually, presenting activities and understanding business context to shape marketing requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements
Essential
- 2+ years’ experience in a marketing role with B2B experience and dealing with external marketing agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent training and evidence of continued professional development.
- Experience in researching market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to create plans that drive growth and profitability.
- Experience in campaign planning, development, execution, and measurement to achieve tangible and quantifiable commercial outcomes.
- Experience in various marketing channels: print, digital, content marketing, email, direct mail, events, affiliate marketing.
- Experience in designing and delivering prospect- and customer-engagement materials and messaging.
- Experience working with and managing external marketing agencies.
- Understanding of the customer buying process.
- Working knowledge of a sales process and sales pipeline
Desirable
- Experience with Salesforce CRM or other CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools (HubSpot, Eloqua, SEM Rush, Monday.com).
- Experience executing digital PPC campaigns; Google Ad certification preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus.
- Experience in an international role is highly preferred.
- Experience in the energy and/or fuel sectors.
- Understanding of Commercial and Industrial B2B market industry verticals, including external and internal drivers affecting them.
