Financial Analyst Intern - Summer 2025

Summer Internship : Late May or Early June to early or late August 2025 Compensation offered for this role is between $22.50 and $30 an hour and is based on experience and qualifications
Team and Work Scope:
This Financial Analyst Intern will join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team and will assist with the following assignments:
Updating P&L financial models with actuals.
Assisting the Sr. FP&A Manager with variance analysis commentary.
Reviewing the financial feasibility of pricing proposals submitted by the sales team and discuss the findings with Sr. Manager.
Assisting in the development of pricing models for new business proposals.
Evaluating the actual financial performance of the AIR channel and analyze actuals vs. forecast variances.
Updating recurring financials review reports for departmental leaders.

Required Qualifications
A rising junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration and Management
Availability for a Summer 2025 internship
Willingness to learn new things, inquisitive personality, and enjoys meeting and working with various people in a remote working environment
Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to prioritize work and multi-task
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with financial planning and analytics
Relevant coursework or experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI

Work Environment: Except for our Customer Care roles which necessitates onsite work, most other roles are remote. AIP is a remote-first company; however, our roles are open to in-office or flex work if you live in a city with a physical office location
Physical Demands: We primarily collaborate with our colleagues through virtual meetings and office collaboration tools. Employees will have to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity machinery, as necessary. Employees must be able to remain stationary for extended periods and must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication.
