Job description

What do we do?

Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.

We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 5000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

The Role:

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for empowering sales teams? As a Senior GTM Enablement Manager, you'll be essential in helping our sales organisation reach new heights. This isn't just about training; it's about architecting and executing impactful programs that directly translate to long-term revenue growth.

This role will partner closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to shape enablement priorities and deliver solutions. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive enablement programs aligned with our overall GTM strategy.

To be successful in this role you’ll need to be a self-starter, comfortable with change and adept at cross-functional senior stakeholder management.

Reports to: Head of GTM Enablement

What you'll do:

You will shape enablement strategies which align with our go-to-market strategy and evolve how the sales teams help customers buy and go-live.
The role is varied and the impact is high.

  • Drive skills and knowledge development to meet our long-term growth goals: You will proactively identify opportunities to optimise sales productivity and skills growth, using a combination of data analysis, listening to Gong calls and by understanding our GTM strategy. You will partner with sales leaders to design and execute initiatives which deliver against our revenue goals.

  • Sales onboarding: You will own and optimise our AE and BDR onboarding, ensuring a rapid and effective ramp by implementing best practices across LMS and live components.

  • Product Enablement: You will collaborate with PMM and Product to create compelling value-focused training for our product releases and share best practices to evolve the approach.

  • Knowledge management: You will own and optimise our internal CMS, ensuring the team can efficiently find information as well as utilise customer-facing features (such as deal rooms).

Best practices and continuous improvement: You will bring your industry expertise and knowledge of enablement best practices, to recommend and execute on ways to continually improve sales enablement at Paddle.

We'd love to hear from you:

  • A strategic and critical thinker, who can connect dots and objectively analyse input to form a proposed plan of action. You have a proven ability to develop and execute enablement initiatives aligned to go-to-market objectives.

  • A cross-functional collaborator by nature, across all levels and functions of an organisation - strong stakeholder management skills are key. In particular, you should be adept at influencing senior sales leadership.

  • A fast learner and self-starter, who thrives in a dynamic environment.

  • A clear, concise communicator who can simplify complex concepts.

  • An expert in enabling a customer-centric buying process and sales methodologies like MEDDPIC.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a customer facing role - e.g. sales, customer success, consulting (we’ll be extra excited if you have payments experience!)
