JOB SUMMARY
Focus on driving digital innovation across end-to-end loan and engagement lifecycle through the integration of cutting-edge tools and technologies. As VP Digital Innovation, you will work closely with key stakeholders to enhance customer experience, streamline operations, ensure compliance and optimize the Company’s product offerings. You will also be responsible for helping define the vision for digital innovation, development of digital strategies and guiding the full lifecycle of digital product development for Mr. Cooper Group.
SCOPE/RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and assess emerging digital technologies (AI, machine learning, automation, etc.) and evaluate their impact on both origination and servicing processes.
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital product strategy, ensuring it addresses the unique challenges and opportunities of the company.
Partner with peer product management teams to define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and digital capabilities that drive customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Leverage data analytics to guide product decision-making, measure the impact of digital innovations, and optimize the customer experience across the full lifecycle—from origination to servicing.
Ensure seamless integration of digital innovations across the mortgage origination and servicing systems, enhancing the end-to-end customer journey.
Partner closely with internal teams across origination, servicing, operations, technology, legal, and compliance to align on product goals and execute digital initiatives.
Present digital innovation strategies and roadmaps to the C-suite and senior leadership, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and addressing any regulatory or operational challenges.
Champion a customer-centric approach by using digital tools to improve both the borrower experience in origination and the servicing experience.
Lead efforts to foster a culture of innovation, agility, and digital transformation across the organization, ensuring both origination and servicing teams are aligned on innovation objectives.
Promote cross-functional collaboration to encourage new ideas and solutions that drive digital progress in both origination and servicing.
Support the development of the product management team, helping them gain expertise related to emerging technologies.
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field; OR, MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
10+ years of experience in digital product management, technology innovation, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
Extensive experience in the mortgage industry, particularly in mortgage origination and/or servicing.
Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives in the financial services, fintech, or mortgage space, including experience in both loan origination and servicing technologies.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams, driving digital innovation, and delivering large-scale product initiatives.
Familiarity with agile product development methodologies and managing a product portfolio within the mortgage industry.
Knowledge of data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements affecting digital solutions in the mortgage servicing and origination space.
