We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Insurance Discovery team where you will work with the team in a collaborative Agile framework, work with other engineers, analysts, testers, and operators delivering on our roadmap. The roadmap is deep and has the highest level of visibility in the organization.
What you'll do:
· Collaborate with and across Agile teams to develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions.
· Work with other team with deep experience in analytics and operation to understand how to ingest & process data efficiently.
· Share your passion for innovation by experimenting with and learning new technologies.
What you'll bring:
· 3+ years' work experience in the software engineering or data engineering domain
· Experience working with Scala/Python and Spark
· Experience working with modern data pipeline orchestration tools
· Experience working with SQL and NoSQL database systems
· Knowledge of distributed system architecture design
· Expertise in developing data processing workflows
Nice to haves:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
· Experience with cloud environments (Azure Preferred)
· Experience working with Databricks
· Healthcare industry experience
· Experience working with agile methodology
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $75,504.00 - $134,521.77 per year .
