Job Title: Real Estate Underwriting Analyst
Compensation: $2,000-2,500/month
Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm EST
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Underwriting Analyst to join their team. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data on prospective deals, preparing reports, and supporting decision-making for real estate investments, acquisitions, and operations. In this role you will be responsible for approximately 60% Underwriting of new deals, 30% Asset Management, and 10% additional task-related items including RUB and various excel projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct underwriting, financial modeling and analysis to evaluate real estate investment opportunities.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports, projections, and market analyses.
Analyze property performance, operating expenses, and cash flow to identify areas for improvement.
Support due diligence for acquisitions, including reviewing financial statements and market data.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Monitor and analyze market trends, property values, and economic conditions.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst position.
3+ years of experience in underwriting new deals.
Experience with multi-family properties in the United States is ideal
Extreme proficiency in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with financial systems.
Proficiency in financial modeling and software tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Deductive reasoning skills are a must.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with tools such as Co-star, Yardi Matrix, Excel, Microsoft Outlook & Teams, RedIQ (underwriting tool) or similar.
Any experience and strength using AI tools is a bonus.
