To manage key accounts and a team of Independent Furniture Sales Representatives inclusive of accountability for achieving profitable revenue growth and sales objectives established for sales territories west of the Mississippi River
•Manage and hold accountable the Mega Motion Sales Representatives through communication and support consistent with corporate direction and strategize to optimize the overall impact on company results
•Manage all aspects of field sales operations in the western region, including generating profitable revenue which results in sales growth
•Educate and train Mega Motion Sales Representatives in the areas of industry trends, competitive sales, pricing strategies, account development, business presentations, expense management and proper use of sales support and Point of Purchase Materials
•Build and manage strong customer relationships through business meetings, product education, and demo facilitation
•Communicate objectives and assist Mega Motion Sales Representatives in territory business plan development and market specific strategies for key account growth in the western region
•Travel and set up for National and Regional Trade shows
•Proactively analyze sales activity and effort among the Mega Motion Sales Representatives, ensuring that the quality and quantity of sales effort meets company expectations
•Collaborate with Executive Leadership on marketing and product design to develop sales strategies to improve market share in core product lines
•Manage budgets for monthly expenses, sample products, sales promotions, and trade shows
•Develop and maintain strong presentation skills on all Mega Motion related product lines
•Create and present buying agreements and sales programs to meet sales goals while ensuring proper company net gross profit margin guidelines are followed
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training
•Assign, train, and develop staff based on experience and departmental goals
•Develop goals and objectives, and measure outcomes to ensure goals are met
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all internal departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Mega Motion retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
•Must be a team player, friendly, professional, detail-oriented, and honest
Must have the ability to:
•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
•Guide, direct, and motivate staff
•Demonstrate and troubleshoot products
•Implement strategic business growth plans and buying agreements
•Travel with an average of 70 overnight stays per year and fulfill after-hours requirements as business needs dictate
•Set up lift chairs at all National and Regional Shows (lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds)
Must have:

•At least 5 years of business-to-business field sales experience with retail products
•At least 3 years of experience managing at least 3 business-to-business field sales representatives
•At least 3 years of business-to-business field sales experience within the furniture industry preferred
•At least 1 year of experience managing at least 3 business-to-business independent field sales representatives preferred
•Associate Degree in a Business-related field OR High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 years of the required experience
•Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field preferred
•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
