Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and optimize high-load backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL and be comfortable working with event-driven architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.

Scope & Responsibilities:

The selected engineer will work on:

Architecting and scaling backend systems for high-load applications.

Optimizing PostgreSQL queries and indexes for performance improvements.

Implementing and managing message queues for scalable event-driven processing.

Developing robust, efficient, and secure APIs to power our applications.

Ensuring backend reliability, security, and maintainability.

Working on microservices architectures and distributed systems.

Improving and maintaining ORM performance (e.g., TypeORM, Prisma).

Optimizing caching strategies using Redis or Memcached to improve response times.

Collaborating with frontend and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration

Required Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a field (or equivalent work experience). related

5+ years of backend development experience, including at least 2 years in high-load systems.

Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.

Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) with experience optimizing queries and indexes.

Experience implementing message queues (BullMQ, RabbitMQ, or similar) and working with event-driven architectures.

Knowledge of ORMs (e.g., TypeORM, Prisma) and their performance impact.

Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architectures.

Proficiency in writing efficient and scalable APIs.

Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Experience with caching strategies (Redis, Memcached) is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
