About the Role
The Solutions Engineer (SE) will support our growing business opportunities with new and existing customers. Through collaboration, the SE will manage customer solution plans, strategic product plans leading to a successful long term customer experience. The SE will also support sales initiatives by participating in solutioning customer requirements, conducting Turvo platform demonstrations, addressing questions and technical challenges of potential customers, and using a high level of system and industry expertise to ensure that the solution will exceed customer needs. This role will be the primary technical resource for customers during the sales and onboarding process.
The ideal candidate for this role is the perfect blend of business and technical; they must be able to establish and maintain strong prospect relationships throughout the sales cycle and must be able to identify technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction from discovery to services hand-off.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist Account Executives (AEs) in qualifying and closing new opportunities
Work closely with customer/prospect to clearly understand their work flows and existing systems from a technical perspective, and translate customer’s requirements into a successful implementation
Document customer workflows via business process mapping to capture current state to build out business value case
Present Turvo solution set in accordance with prospect/customer needs and requirements in a consultative manner
Serves as internal conduit between Sales and other Turvo functional areas (Product, Onboarding, Support, Marketing, Pricing, etc)
Collaborate cross-functionally to understand competitive landscape and develop positioning strategies for our solution
Operate and maintain the demo environment hygiene and ensure new features are available for demos
Identify and understand solution gaps and work with the Product team to determine whether those needs can be addressed by our solution through development
Support internal enablement to sales on system features, functionality, benefits and assist with new employee on-boarding
Support marketing and webinar related demos and presentations
Display deep understanding of configuration and infrastructure of SaaS applications
Attend on-site customer meetings, tradeshows and industry events as needed. Travel (under normal circumstance) approximates 25%

Experience:
3-5 years in a Supply Chain/Logistics domain, SaaS experience required
Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Pre-Sales experience is a benefit
Entrepreneurial self-starter, who knows how to structure and breakdown ambiguous problems into executable steps
Strong verbal and written communication including high level of comfort with public speaking and excellent presentation skills
Bachelor’s degree in a supply chain, technical or engineering discipline
Experience with Microsoft Office, G-suite, Lucid chart, and Salesforce products is a must and ability to learn and understand software applications
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Intellectually curious and loves learning new things
Organized and detail-oriented
