The Impact You’ll Make;

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Project Manager to lead the Databuild Modernisation project. This role is responsible for planning, leading, organising, and motivating the project team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of sprints and releases. The ideal candidate will manage dependencies, hold teams accountable, remove obstacles, and escalate issues where necessary to maintain project momentum.

  • Organise and lead project status and working meetings.
  • Define project scope and schedule, ensuring regular and timely delivery of value.
  • Perform delivery planning for assigned activities.
  • Monitor and report key performance metrics to the leadership team.
  • Prepare and distribute progress reports.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, correcting deviations as needed.
  • Support team development by mentoring and holding internal and external teams accountable.
  • Leverage organisational resources to improve project work capacity.
  • Foster a culture of quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
  • Enhance transparency and effective communication within the team.
  • Lead by example and provide all necessary support to ensure successful project execution.

About You;

  • Proven experience within the building construction industry.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • Knowledge of Agile techniques such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, and Automated Testing.
  • Experience applying Agile patterns and techniques, including Burndown technologies and Retrospective formats.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong background in software product development.
