Volaris Lopes Group is on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take the lead in auditing current security practices and guide the development and implementation of robust security operations across our company’s assets, internal systems, customer-facing platforms, and employee work environments.

Volaris Lopes Group is on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take the lead in auditing current security practices and guide the development and implementation of robust security operations across our company’s assets, internal systems, customer-facing platforms, and employee work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough audits of existing security policies, procedures, and controls to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security frameworks that safeguard all assets, software, networks, and employee information.
  • Lead efforts to achieve SOC2 Type 2 compliance for the entire Volaris Lopes Group in 2025, ensuring effective change management, incident response, and security oversight.
  • Establish processes for each business unit (VBU) to assess risks, investigate security breaches, and enforce security standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (HR, IT, DevOps, Software Development) to integrate security best practices into all business processes.
  • Oversee and report on security operations, incident management, and employee engagement across each VBU.
  • Ensure all VBUs maintain updated emergency response plans and security awareness practices.
  • Guide VBUs in preparing for SOC and ISO audits, customer audit requests, and risk-minimizing contract reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Security Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in information security management and compliance, with a deep understanding of information security principles.
  • Proficiency with security technologies, incident management software, and SOC2 Type 2 controls.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and legal regulations related to information security.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide diverse teams across multiple departments.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, CSM) are a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of cross-border security requirements (US, Canada, Australia).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, emergency response planning, and incident management.
