General Description:

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Global Congresses to join our team and play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of medical congresses worldwide. This individual will be responsible for logistics, booth management, and medical event support across global and regional congresses. The role is instrumental in supporting Global Medical Affairs teams, particularly in the U.S., to ensure seamless execution of congress activities aligned with our scientific and medical strategy. This role reports to the Director, Global Congresses and works closely with Global Medical Affairs and crossfunctional teams to deliver high-impact congress experiences. This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly specialized, fast-paced oncology environment, collaborating cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance our presence at key medical congresses.

Essential Functions of the job:

Congress Management & Booth Operations:

  • Oversee the sponsorship agreements, all logistics (accommodation, congress registrations, business centers, etc.) and booth support for Tier 2 congresses (such as - not limited to: WCLC, ASCO GI, ESMO GI, ERIC CLL) and Tier 3 congresses (such as - not limited to: IwNHL, ELCC, SOHO, ECP, ESH), ensuring alignment with medical objectives.

  • Partner with external vendors, agencies, and internal teams to manage booth setup, branding, and compliance.

  • Support the Director, Global Congresses in the design and buildout of exhibit booth at EU-based Tier 1 congresses (such as - not limited to: EHA, ICML, IwCLL, ESMO), ensuring an engaging and impactful presence.

  • Coordinate shipping, installation, dismantling, and overall booth logistics. Data Sharing & Compliance

  • Collaborate with the Global Operations & Business Analytics (GOBA) team to track and report on HCP participation at congresses.

  • Support post-congress reporting, including metrics, insights, and process improvements.

  • Utilize data and feedback to continuously enhance the congress experience and identify areas for growth.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external and internal partners to enhance the quality and reach of events.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all congresses in scope. Market Analysis and Trends:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologiesin event management to drive innovation and improve event offerings.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • In collaboration with Compliance, Legal, and Corporate Affairs s/he/they will ensure that all activities are conducted in a compliant manner with BeiGene policies, procedures, and local regulatory/legal requirements, company policies and code of conduct.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical / biotech Industry or healthcare related association/society experience (strong preference for Oncology experience).

  • Experience in oncology or another specialty focused therapeutic area highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical congress compliance, transparency reporting, and data sharing requirements.

  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of event technologies and congress platforms.

  • Ability to navigate through budget/resource constraints to deliver on business priorities to support existing product portfolio and launches of new products into the marketplace.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Commercial (Sales and Marketing), Medical Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Patient Advocacy, Legal, Compliance and Government Affairs.

  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal communication, strategic agility, and negotiation skills.

  • Skillfully able to appropriately challenge status quo, ensuring decisions and assumptions are based on best available information including KPIs.

  • Must be able to innovate, analyze and solve problems with strong attention to detail and customer oriented mentality.

  • Experience in managing relationships with vendor suppliers, creative agencies, and service providers to deliver stakeholder-focused services required.

  • Effective communication and global enterprise mindset.

Travel is required for this role.
