About the role

As a Senior Legal Counsel at Booming Games, you will play a key role in ensuring the company operates within legal and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions. You will provide strategic legal guidance, oversee compliance processes, and mitigate risks while supporting the business in contractual negotiations and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations across relevant jurisdictions, ensuring the company remains fully compliant.

  • Develop and implement robust legal and compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.As a Senior Legal Counsel at Booming Games, you will play a key role in ensuring the company operates within legal and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions. You will provide strategic legal guidance, oversee compliance processes, and mitigate risks while supporting the business in contractual negotiations and regulatory matters

  • Advise senior management on legal risks and compliance matters, providing strategic recommendations to mitigate exposure.

  • Oversee data protection and privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR) and ensure company-wide adherence to applicable laws.

  • Manage third-party risk by ensuring that vendors, suppliers, and business partners comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare legal memorandum on various matters and conduct legal research 

  • Assist in License application and various new markets

  • Assist with corporate filings and changes

  • Ad hoc legal document preparation and review

  • IP related work including trademark applications, research and monitoring. 

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier, client, and licensing  contracts, ensuring alignment with the company’s legal and commercial interests.

  • Maintain a structured contract management system to track obligations, renewals, and risks.

  • Advise internal stakeholders on contract risks, rights, and obligations.

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory filings and reports to government agencies and industry regulators.

  • Oversee legal and compliance administration, ensuring all legal matters are handled in an organized and timely manner.

  • Engage and manage external legal counsel when necessary, optimizing cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate legal records, ensuring proper documentation of compliance efforts, audits, and investigations


Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer with 3+ years of experience in a corporate legal role, ideally within the iGaming and technology software sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, particularly in international markets.

  • Experience with IP,  data protection and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR) and regulatory reporting.

  • Proven ability to negotiate and draft complex commercial agreements.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.

  • Ability to work independently while providing strategic guidance to senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
