Our software engineering teams focus on best coding practices to ensure readability, reusability, and scalability of our systems' designs and developments.

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a solid technical foundation to work on a team that builds the portal users go through to register their accounts and get to our partner's platform. The responsibilities include developing new features and adding capabilities to an existing Java backend that provides gRPC and REST APIs while developing user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and functional for research use cases.

If you:

• Have experience working with Java, CSS, and JavaScript

• Have experience working with RPC protocol.
• Have knowledge of at least 1 of Angular, React, or Vue (preference for Angular)

• Can tackle high complexity tasks independently.

• Can participate in software design conversations.

• Can obtain information indirectly to identify risks to the team or projects.

• Have good soft skills, self-driven, and learning agility are key.

• Are fluent in Spanish and English and feel comfortable in a bilingual environment.

It'd be nice if you:

• Are familiar with Docker.

• Are familiar with Kubernetes

• Distributed system design knowledge.
