Job Description:

Join Hitachi Energy as a Regional Sales Manager and play a pivotal role in expanding our Network Control (NC) customer base across the Western United States. This is your chance to drive growth in the electric utility sector by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities with both established and new customers. You'll focus on Investor-Owned Utilities (IOUs), Rural Electric Cooperatives (RECs), Municipal Utilities (Munis), and other strategic opportunities. If you are passionate about sales, technology, and making a significant impact, this role is for you!

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans.
  • Apply a structured selling process and track progress.
  • Identify new NC opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Evaluate and convert leads into prospects and opportunities.
  • Meet and report on sales quotas for leads, prospects, and bookings.
  • Maintain detailed records in Salesforce CRM.
  • Coordinate with technical staff and ensure key decision-makers are engaged.
  • Lead the RFP process and develop responsive bids.

Your Background

  • Strong knowledge of the electric utility sector and related technologies.
  • Experience selling enterprise-level software, preferably SCADA, ADMS, EMS, and/or GMS solutions.
  • Proven success in identifying and capturing new customer opportunities.
  • Excellent sales management and communication skills.
  • Experience with IT/OT convergence and strategic planning.
  • B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with a track record of expanding customer bases.
