Job description

TriTech Enterprise Systems is seeking ‘Quality Assurance Consultants (seniors)’ to support a Maryland State clients. These consultants will provides quality management for information systems using the standard methodologies, techniques, and metrics for assuring product quality and key activities in quality management. Establish capable processes, monitoring and control of critical processes and product mechanisms for feedback of performance, implementation of an effective root cause analysis and corrective action system, and continuous process improvement. Provides strategic quality plans in targeted areas of the organization. Provides QA strategies to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established industry standards, government regulations and customer requirements. Develops and implements life cycle and QA methodologies and educates, and implements QA metrics.
Preferred Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline. A Master’s degree preferred.
At least eight (8) years information systems quality assurance experience.
At least five (5) years of experience working with statistical methods and quality standards. Must have good QA/process knowledge and possess superior written and verbal communication skills.
Certified Software Tester (CSTE), Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE), ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL), Quality Improvement Associate Certification (CQIA), Certified Test Manager (CTM), Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP), or other Industry equivalent certification. The equivalent certification may be acceptable provided the Master Contractor demonstrate that they are functionally equivalent to the preferred certification.

Required Skills:

At least four (4) years of experience with manual functional/regression testing, design and execution.
At least five (5) years of experience working with quality control methods and tools.
