The Professional Services Manager will spearhead our professional services for customers, focusing on implementing sophisticated on-vehicle solutions integrated with backend systems using Windows Servers and Safe Fleet Cloud applications. The Professional Services Manager will have a strong background in wireless networking, including conducting site surveys, strong technical skills, and a proven track record in leadership within technology-driven environments. Expected travel to various locations across the U.S. and Canada to implement solutions, site surveys, troubleshooting and resolving issues.  


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of on-vehicle technology solutions integrated with backend systems on Windows Servers and Azure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the integration of Safe Fleet equipment and services with Customer networks and systems. onsite at the customer locations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions to enhance their operational efficiency and maximize utilization of the professional services team while monitoring costs.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for our applications, guiding setup and usage to maximize client satisfaction. and operational efficiency. 
  • Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to professional service and network engineering teams, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in vehicle technology, Windows Server configurations, Safe Fleet Cloud solutions, and wireless networking.
  • Review, test, and recommend wireless products for use with vehicle solutions. 
  • Manage professional services team to enhance operational efficiency by prioritizing maximum utilization of the diverse professional services team while monitoring costs and projecting revenue forecasts for services. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and privacy regulations applicable to on-vehicle and cloud-based solutions.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in implementing technology solutions, with specific expertise of systems integration in a Windows environment and the deployment of Cloud applications and solutions.
  • Proficient in wireless networking, including performing site surveys and implementing robust networking solutions.
  • Candidates with experience in 12V/24V vehicle installation/technologies will be preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic project environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving client needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on client-centric service.
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies, networking, or project management are highly desirable.
