Who You Are Prowess Consulting is looking for a Privacy Project Manager with software privacy and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) experience to join our growing team.
This is a full-time role with Prowess Consulting that can be worked remotely from one of the states listed below; however, collaboration with teammates centered in the various time zones will be essential. No third-party agencies, please.
To be considered for this role, you must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington.
The Role
Provide initial support for privacy consultation requests, including effectively communicating privacy-related information, guiding stakeholders on compliance requirements, and directing them to appropriate resources for further assistance.
Conduct privacy reviews for low-risk scenarios, as well as validating responses for self-attestation scenarios, ensuring that organizational practices align with privacy standards and requirements.
Continuously stay updated on evolving privacy laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure that privacy practices remain current and compliant.
Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy considerations into various business processes, systems, and initiatives, fostering a culture of privacy awareness and accountability within the organization.
Qualifications
4 plus years’ experience as a Privacy Manager is required
Certified in Privacy certifications: CIPM/CIPP/CIPT highly desirable
Experience with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) required
Additional Details
The offered base pay range for this position is $95,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on the candidate’s geographic location and work experience. Note that base pay ranges may vary for different work locations within the US, which allows for competitive pay and consistency in different states.
Full-time employees (defined as working 30 hours or more per week) within the US have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, a 401K plan with matching, well-being benefits, education benefits, and other benefits.
Full-time employees based in the US receive 11 paid holidays per year, in addition to accruing paid time off based on tenure.
