Job Title: Principal Digital Marketing Specialist / Strategist

Location: Remote (working with teams in Europe and the US)

Role Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Principal Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team, reporting directly to the Head of Digital Marketing. This senior-level, independent contributor role (8+ years of experience required) is key to ensuring our digital marketing efforts scale strategically and provide tactical support for our Demand Generation teams across geos.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Directors of Paid Media, CRO & Insights, Organic Growth, and Web Experience, ensuring digital channels and activity are optimized to meet our demand capture and demand generation goals. As a key connector between digital marketing and demand generation, you’ll also provide strategic recommendations, tactical execution support, and data-driven insights that align our digital efforts with growth and revenue goals.

You’ll be expected to bring both strategic thinking and executional expertise, balancing stakeholder collaboration with hands-on digital optimization and campaign management. This role will provide data-driven insights, execution support, and strategic recommendations to align our digital efforts with overall growth and revenue objectives.

Additionally, you will work with stakeholders across Marketing Operations, Data Science, and agency partners to drive an integrated, data-informed approach that enhances our full-funnel marketing impact—from awareness to conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Collaboration & Cross-Team Alignment

  • Work alongside Directors of Paid Media, Organic Growth, and Web Experience to align digital marketing strategies with demand creation and generation priorities across regions. Provide recommendations to the team, ensuring seamless integration across paid, organic, and web experiences.

  • Serve as a key advisor to Demand Generation teams, identifying opportunities to enhance digital impact and recommending optimizations.

Data-Driven Insights & Optimization

  • Work closely with the provided insights from the Digital Marketing, Marketing Operations and Data Science teams to identify what’s working, what’s not, and where to adjust.

  • Analyze campaign performance across paid media, SEO, and web analytics to provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

  • Champion data-informed decision-making across all digital strategy and execution efforts.

Agency Partners

  • Work alongside channel directors to extract value from agencies, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and deliver high-impact results.

  • Provide guidance on marketing execution, helping to bridge agency work with internal objectives.

Full-Funnel Digital Strategy

  • Develop and optimize strategies that drive measurable impact across the entire marketing funnel, ensuring digital channels contribute effectively to both demand creation and demand capture.

  • Ensure the website and digital campaigns support demand gen initiatives and drive seamless customer journeys from discovery to conversion.

Scaling the Strategic Role of Digital Marketing

  • Support the evolution of the Digital Marketing team as a strategic growth driver within the marketing organization.

  • Advocate for best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement in digital execution.

  • Contribute to our 2025 goal of becoming the fastest-growing, visionary leader in our space.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving strategy and results across multiple channels.

  • Strong expertise in analyzing data to inform decision-making and guide strategy.

  • Experience working with global, remote teams, particularly across Europe and the US.

  • Deep understanding of marketing strategies and how best to utilize digital marketing channels, including paid media, SEO (technical and organic), and content marketing, as well as their role in supporting demand generation efforts.

  • Proven ability to manage and collaborate with external agency partners.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
