Responsibilities of the Photo Editor:

• Photo Editing & Retouching:
  • Perform high-end product retouching to enhance image quality while maintaining a natural and authentic look. This includes:
    • Removing imperfections while preserving fine details
    • Refining product textures, finishes, and surfaces to highlight quality
    • Ensuring accurate color matching and correction for a visually appealing result
    • Managing complex surfaces like reflective glass, metal, and transparent materials
    • Retouch lifestyle images to achieve a polished yet natural aesthetic
  • Execute advanced color grading and lighting adjustments to enhance visual impact
  • Maintain consistency across all edited images to align with brand identity and quality standards
  • Product Focus:
    • Primarily editing product photography for shampoo bottles, body care items, plastic containers, glass packaging, and similar items
      
      
• Workflow Management & Delivery:
  • Efficiently process and manage large batches of images while maintaining the highest quality standards
  • Deliver high-resolution, fully edited images in required formats (e.g., JPEG) within established timelines
  • Organize and maintain an accessible, well-structured photo library and archive system
  • Ensure all edited files are properly backed up and stored securely (e.g., Dropbox)
    
    
• Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct meticulous quality checks to guarantee precision and consistency in all edits
  • Address and resolve complex editing challenges, including:
    • Fixing lighting and exposure inconsistencies
    • Cleaning up product images by reducing glare, reflections, and label distortions
    • Retouching lifestyle images with a focus on maintaining natural skin tones while minimizing wrinkles on skin and clothing
    • Extending or adjusting backgrounds to enhance composition when necessary
