The job in a nutshell

As our Performance Marketing Team Lead, you will be responsible for defining and executing our paid marketing strategy. You will ensure we maximize the efficiency of our current paid search efforts while expanding into new performance marketing channels such as social media, niche platforms, and programmatic advertising. In this role, you'll also have the opportunity to directly lead and mentor a team of two, shaping their growth and contributing to the overall success of the department. Your expertise in data-driven decision-making and campaign optimization will be crucial to accelerating TestGorilla’s growth.
  

You’ll spend time on the following
  • Owning and scaling our performance marketing strategy: Manage and optimize our multi-million-dollar paid media budget across multiple channels to drive customer acquisition and maximize ROI.
  • Optimizing search engine advertising: Improve the performance of our Google and Bing Ads campaigns by refining targeting, creatives, and bidding strategies.
  • Expanding into new paid channels: Identify, test, and scale additional paid channels, including social media (LinkedIn, Meta, X), programmatic advertising, and niche industry platforms.
  • Analyzing and optimizing performance: Continuously track, measure, and improve marketing performance by leveraging analytics, A/B testing, and data-driven insights.
  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing team: Build and grow a team of paid media and digital marketing specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and performance.
  • Collaborating across teams: Work closely with Sales, Product, and other Marketing teams to align marketing strategies with business goals and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Staying ahead of trends: Keep up with the latest in digital advertising, automation tools, and best practices to ensure TestGorilla stays ahead of the competition.
  • Impact: Play a key role in driving TestGorilla’s growth and revolutionizing hiring.
  • Autonomy: Lead and shape our performance marketing strategy with full ownership
