Your Role 

• Optimize the performance of PHP 8.1+ applications and troubleshoot issues
• Maintain and develop new internal/external integrations with providers and microservices
• Refactor and optimize existing monolithic code
• Write unit tests to ensure code quality
• Develop and document APIs
• Conduct code reviews and participate in cross-reviews
• Collaborate closely with the QA and Product teams
  

What We’re Looking For 

• Ability to take responsibility for tasks and proactively address challenges
• 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development
• Familiarity with popular frameworks such as: Laravel, Symfony, and Yii.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL), including the ability to build complex queries, work with aggregations, and optimize indexes. Understanding of transactions is also important
• Experience with REST APIs
• Familiarity with microservice architecture
• Experience with Redis/Memcache for caching strategies
• Practical experience with RabbitMQ or similar message brokers to build scalable, asynchronous systems
• Understanding of shared resources, locks, idempotency, ACID principles, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Docker
