About the opportunity:

As Operations Manager, you'll lead daily operations of our Latvian subsidiary, directly managing processes around outsourcing, compliance, and operational improvements. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining smooth, efficient, and compliant business practices while laying the groundwork for scalable growth. As part of the leadership team, you will implement operational strategies that align with our broader business objectives of the group and regulatory obligations.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure efficient day-to-day operations, including risk mitigation, data processing, and customer service workflows.

• Design, implement, and continually optimize operational systems and processes to increase efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Directly oversee outsourced operations, regularly reviewing performance against SLAs and KPIs, ensuring adherence to business goals and Latvian and European regulatory standards.

• Manage third-party service provider relationships, including due diligence, contract negotiation, and monitoring adherence to SLAs and KPIs, within the Group and externally.

• Work closely with internal teams and senior leadership to align operations strategy with company goals and compliance requirements.

• Develop and maintain business continuity plans, proactively managing operational risks.

What you need to be successful (requirements):

• Operational Expertise: Proven experience managing operations in financial services, fintech, or tech industries, with hands-on expertise in outsourcing, risk management, and regulatory compliance seen as advantages.

• Organizational Skills: Ability to build and improve operational processes that are efficient, compliant, and scalable.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills; able to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including external providers and regulatory bodies, in both Latvian and English.

• Data-Driven Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical mindset; comfortable using data-driven tools and insights (familiarity with SQL or similar tools is a plus).

• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced qualifications or certifications in operations or risk management are an advantage.
