BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY: The Merchandising Specialist is responsible for supporting the Corporate Merchandising Manager in client account management. The Merchandising Specialist focuses on product sourcing, assortment planning, and performance analysis. The role demands strong analytical skills and the ability to create detailed and engaging product presentations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Duties, Skills, Responsibilities and Expectations: Client Support and Communication
Attend recurring client calls to understand upcoming merchandising needs
Take detailed notes during internal and client meeting
Assist in preparing client presentations and product decks
Product Sourcing and Assortment Planning
Handle one-off client sourcing requests, following the Sourcing Protocol
Create product assortments tailored to client need
Price out items and develop presentation decks with branded image
Manage Limited Time Buy (LTB) requests, analyzing past performance to inform selections
Account Management and Analysis
Prepare monthly velocity reports and scorecards by the 10th of each month
Analyze report data to identify underperforming items and recommend changes
Complete Carbon Footprint reporting based on client needs (quarterly, yearly, etc.)
Conduct regular account refreshes as per agreed-upon cadence
Analyze Google Analytics monthly for each account and optimize product placement
Trend Analysis and Product Development
Use various data sources to identify product trends within the company and industry
Present trend findings to the Merchandising Manager for potential core store addition
Incorporate trend insights into client product mixes during refreshes or one-off sourcing
Inventory and SKU Management
Vet requests to ensure accounts can handle additional SKU counts
Propose potential SKUs to drop or items to put on sale when necessary
Support SKU consolidation initiatives by recommending Elite matches for reorder items
Collaboration and Reporting
Meet weekly with S/PAM and Merchandising Manager
Present recommendations and reports to S/PAM
Assist the Program Manager with pricing and deck development for new accounts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Previous promotional product experience preferred
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Proficiency in creating presentations and reports
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with Google Analytics and e-commerce platforms
Sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving
Ability to work independently or team as required by the task or project
Ability to organize and manage multiple competing projects
Strong PC skills and MS Office skills
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent

Position is fully remote to the US only
Ability to accommodate multiple time zones with primary ET (EST/EDT)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Maintaining a stationary position for up to 50% of the workday
