Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Membership Engagement Manager to join our growing team. This role will be critical in managing relationships with current and potential NSTC members, which range from large multinational corporations to smaller, innovative startups. The specialist will articulate the value proposition of the consortium, drive membership growth, and ensure members are engaged and benefitting from their involvement. Knowledge of the semiconductor industry is highly preferred to speak credibly about industry challenges, consortium goals, and opportunities for members to contribute to and benefit from consortium initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Member Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with members to ensure members are aware of and fully utilizing the consortium’s resources, initiatives, and benefits.
Outreach and Recruitment: Proactively reach out to potential members, presenting the consortium’s value proposition and opportunities for collaboration, growth, and innovation.
Onboarding: Guide new members through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
Member Retention: Develop strategies to retain existing members by continuously showcasing the benefits of consortium participation, including access to industry insights, networking opportunities, research, and funding opportunities.
Event Participation: Represent the consortium at industry events, conferences, and meetings. Help organize and manage with events teams member-focused webinars, briefings, and networking events.
Feedback and Insights: Regularly gather feedback from members to improve engagement strategies, think creatively to identify new opportunities for value creation, and communicate these insights to leadership.
Reporting: Work with Membership Operations team to track and report on membership engagement activities, member satisfaction, and recruitment efforts to the leadership team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in membership engagement, business development, or client relationship management, ideally within the technology or semiconductor industry.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with semiconductor technology, industry trends, and challenges is highly preferred.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver key messages clearly.
Customer-Focused: A passion for providing excellent service to members and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple relationships and initiatives simultaneously.
Events: Experience participating in industry events and networking activities to drive connections.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software, membership management tools, and communication platforms.
