We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of RF (Radio Frequency) PCB and or RF circuit design to join our team. In this role, you will join a team of SME’s in various PCB design types to setting strategy, identifying technology gaps, defining development projects to enhance capabilities, and driving business performance. This role will work closely with the PCB manufacturing teams, the RF design & engineering teams and our customer teams.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the RF PCB category providing technical direction and support.

• Strong background with key RF characteristics like EM fields, transmission lines and PCB component design.

• Knowledge of market TAM/SAM, competitors, technology drivers etc.

• Interact with sales teams and customers to strengthen our relationship and showcase areas where TTM can win.

• Understand Customer Roadmaps

  • Identify and resolve gaps between customer wants/needs and our capabilities

  • Identifying opportunities for development projects, TTM/Customer Joint and/or TTM only

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to interpret data and present the findings to relevant stakeholders at all levels in a clear and concise manner

• Excellent relationship building skills; exhibits strong leadership and creates trust

• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently with little oversite 

• Open minded to provide practical solutions to complex business needs

• Strong curiosity and investigative skills

• Exceptional attention to detail

Knowledge of software solutions and applications  

• Proficient level experience with MS Office including building data models within programs like Excel, PowerPoint, Word

• Fluent with HFSS simulation software.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Related Science; Master’s degree preferred.

• 12+ years with a Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years with a Master’s degree of broad-based experience across PCB and RF Design at least 5 years of experience in a large organization evaluating, improving and driving transformation and change. 

• Preferred EM educational background with had 3 years of experience as an RF engineer. 

• Proven record of technical and customer interaction

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
