What you’ll be doing:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement graphic design strategies that effectively communicate the brand's message and achieve marketing objectives. Provide direction and inspiration to the graphic design team, fostering creativity and innovation.

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of graphic designers and art directors, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and facilitating professional development. Ensure the team is aligned with the company's vision and objectives.

  • Creative Oversight: Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring designs meet quality standards and project requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all platforms.

  • Project Management: Manage the graphic design department's workflow, prioritizing projects, allocating resources, and ensuring deadlines are met. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.

  • Brand Stewardship: Maintain the integrity of the brand identity across all design elements, ensuring consistency and coherence in visual messaging. Update and enforce brand guidelines as needed.

  • Innovation and Trends: Stay informed on the latest trends in graphic design, technology, and marketing to keep the organization at the forefront of design innovation. Encourage the team to explore new ideas and techniques.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role within a design team. Performance-related design experience, preferred. 

  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, digital, and print design. Experience in e-commerce or D2C advertising preferred

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiar with design best practices.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Proven track record of managing complex design projects from conception to completion.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.

Compensation:

The hiring salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 plus a discretionary performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary. 

Hiring salaries are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, parity with other team members, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits, incentive pay,  and equity upon request. Disclosure as required by the Colorado Equal Pay for > Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-101 et seq.
