Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY: 

This position is responsible for leading the development, delivery, and execution of impactful sales content for internal training programs and initiatives in an appropriate format that reflects the current sales strategy and is reflective of constant product enhancements and sales methodology expectations. Supports the successful execution of all training efforts for the organization in the US and/or International Sales teams. Key metrics are linked to the overall success of the Global Sales Organization. This role is part of the Sales Enablement leadership team and will have direct reports.  

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Works directly for the Sr, Director of Revenue Operations and Sales Enablement, works closely with and supports Senior Sales Leadership in the US and EU along with multiple other key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). 
  • Oversees administration and adoption of Learning Management System (LMS) in the sales organization. 
  • Manages the instructional design of in-person, online and e-learning content for the sales organization as well as external vendor management 

 

 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Determine appropriate resourcing of staff needed to achieve goals and objectives 
  • Define annual Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals.  
  • Manage and mentor employees on performance gaps, career development opportunities, and strategies.  
  • Manage and coach employees on related processes including onboarding, performance management, sales skills, soft-skills, and related areas. 
  • Recognize others’ contributions and share credit for success.  
  • Own attainment of high employee satisfaction and retention; lead development of programs and initiatives within group to attain high employee satisfaction.

  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and understand diverse platforms, operating systems, data communications, and networking preferred  
  • Experience conducting both individual and team training is required  
  • Ability to work independently on multiple activities, showing appropriate level of prioritization and escalation skills.  
  • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple work centers  
  •  Flexibility and an appreciation of a fast-moving global environment 

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education or related field. 
  • Five (5) plus years of experience in sales, sales training, sales enablement, marketing, technology, project or program management with prior leadership experience strongly preferred 
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
