About the role

The Learning and Development Associate plays an important role in supporting and executing key L&D practice activities and team administrative and support activities to deliver outstanding service to our employees across The Adaptavist Group.  Reporting to the Senior Manager of L&D, this role will be responsible for the administration of the full learning suite as well as key reporting and analytics with a heavy focus on evaluation and ROI reporting.  The role will also be responsible for needs assessments, facilitation, and instructional design supporting the L&D function as required. 

This is very much a role that will support the hybrid model of Learning Operations across the Adaptavist Group, while also engaging in traditional L&D activities that support the senior L&D team.  If you are looking for a role to utilise your already exceptional organisational and operations-focused capabilities while expanding and developing your L&D skills - this could be the role for you!

What you'll be doing

Learning and Development Coordination and Administration
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure superior customer service as a key point of contact through timely and accurate communication, execution and support for various L&D projects and initiatives.
  • Acts as administrator/super user for all Learning and Development tools and software.
  • Responsible for administration and reporting out of our internal LMS/LXP systems.
  • Creates, monitors and maintains a central training calendar for L&D.
  • Responsible for maintaining and reporting training records and accreditations across TAG. 
  • Maintains, develops and controls content on the Learning and Development confluence pages to ensure continuity, accuracy, and the most up-to-date content.
  • Responsible for providing reports to L&D for monthly executive reporting.
  • Provides virtual and in-person workshops and facilitated training session support.
  • Researches and gathers data on external training vendors.
  • Acts as an administrator for the UK apprenticeship program and HRDF program in Malaysia.

  • Learning and Development Course and Program Development
  • Works with the senior L&D team to complete needs assessments, gap analysis and evaluations.
  • Facilitates internal workshops and training courses as needed across The Adaptavist Group.
  • Develops and designs custom courses and programs for internal customers using a variety of learning technologies and instructional design software.
  • Works with the senior L&D team on skill mapping/skills assessments and gap analysis.
  • Develops and deploys pre and post-training communications and measurement instruments used to evaluate ROI on our internal and external programs.
  • Assists with the development, coordination, and collaboration with stakeholders and the HR team of onboarding activities for new hires both internally and externally.

  • Adult Education degree or equivalent Learning and development certifications
  • Proficient use of Instructional Design Software and  learning tools
  • Knowledge and use of AI technologies in the development of L&D assets
  • Proven experience with instructional design and facilitation
  • Previous experience in an L&D role
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with learning suite platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks
  • Proven time management and organization skills
  • Able to foster and cultivate collaborative relationships across multiple departments
  • A self starter who can work independently, but values teamwork
  • Ability to work varied work hours/schedules

  • Bilingual abilities in German or Spanish would be an asset
  • Solid experience at a b2b SaaS company or marketing agency
  • Exposure to a complex/global matrix environment
  • Experience with drafting, editing, and issuing communications to a varied audience
  • Experience working with a Jira service desk
  • Experience using Jira, Slack, Trello and Confluence and other collaboration/communication tools
