A bit about the role…

This project is an 8 to 12-month business transformation initiative focused on integrating NetSuite (ERP) with a new CRM system and Solink’s backend SaaS service that powers customer operations. This project will optimize the end-to-end process from Lead to Cash by automating workflows, improve data integrity, and ensure seamless data flow across Sales, Operations, Finance and Customer Success functions.

The Functional Project Lead will represent Solink and play a lead role in ensuring the successful integration of these new processes in NetSuite, the CRM system, and our backend SaaS service. This individual will manage cross-functional collaboration, oversee ERP/CRM integrations, and lead testing, data migration, and cutover planning to ensure a smooth transition. You will partner with our Director of Enterprise Applications, who is solely dedicated to this project and supported by:

1. Our internal Technical Architect with decades of CRM implementation, development, integration and data modeling experience

3. Our outsourced CRM development team

4. Our ERP consulting company provides resources to manage the design and build of Netsuite, who have recently completed a discovery phase and are very familiar with the needs of our company and the build required to accomplish. They will work with third party vendors for off the shelf Netsuite applications for things like Billing Automation. 

5. Our Solink business leads and SME’s across each affected department, including our executives

WHO YOU ARE :

• 2-4 Years experience as a Project Manager implementing ERP 

• 3-5 Years experience as a Business Analyst, Data Migration Specialist or Developer implementing ERP or CRM

• ERP Implementation Experience

  • Several years of experience implementing ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) projects - particularly Order to Cash processes, with lean towards Netsuite

  • CRM implementation experience is a benefit

  • Experience implementing subscription management for SaaS companies a benefit

• Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Proven experience leading full-scale testing cycles (SIT, E2E, UAT, Dry Runs) for ERP/CRM projects.

  • Strong ability to build and execute test cases, test scripts, and defect resolution workflows.

  • Experience in training business users for UAT and running structured testing workshops.

• Change Management & Training

  • Experience in developing SOPs, user guides, and training programs for new system rollouts.

  • Ability to engage end-users early, gather feedback, and drive high adoption rates.

• Data Migration & Governance

  • Experience with ETL processes, data validation, and migration planning.

  • Strong ability to define data templates, extract/cleanse business data, and ensure seamless data integration - particularly engaging and managing the business to accomplish these tasks for high volume of data

  • Knowledge of data reconciliation best practices and data governance strategies.

• Cutover & Go-Live Execution

  • Experience leading complex cutovers in a tight execution window (e.g., weekend go-live scenarios).

  • Ability to define detailed cutover plans, sequencing tasks, and aligning cross-functional teams.

  • Strong risk mitigation and contingency planning skills for high-stakes system transitions.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Project Management (35%) - Successfully hit dates and budgets through deep understanding of objectives and great relationships

• Project Planning & Execution – Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are clearly mapped and leveraging your PM EQ to hold teams and individuals accountable. 

• Support build execution - Support technical teams on sprint planning, user story creation and organization, feedback loops to and from the business to ensure gaps are addressed by deeply understanding what is being built

• Testing Strategy & Oversight – Lead and own all testing cycles (System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (E2E), Dry Runs, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)).

  • Build and manage test plans, test scripts, and test execution schedules.

  • Facilitate testing workshops with key stakeholders to align expectations.

  • Track defects, coordinate resolutions, and ensure successful issue closure.

• Cutover Planning & Execution – Develop and execute a detailed cutover plan for transitioning systems over a tight time window (e.g., weekend go-live).

  • Define step-by-step sequencing of high-volume tasks with clear ownership and contingency planning.

  • Ensure business and technical teams are aligned on execution priorities.

  • Drive go/no-go decision-making and post-cutover validation.

• Budget, Stakeholder & Vendor Management – Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (NetSuite, CRM consultants and developers) to align project goals and execution, manage SOW’s and Change Orders, manage and maintain budget

• Change Management & Communication – Define a change management framework ensuring user adoption and minimal disruption.

  • Engage end-users early, gather feedback, and provide clear transition roadmaps.

  • Develop and deliver training workshops, SOPs, and internal documentation.

  • Cross-Team Communication – Provide regular project updates to and ensure clear, consistent communication across all business functions.

• Executive Reporting & Risk Management – Provide project status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.

Functional / Business Analysis (35%) - Deeply understand the benefits associated to what we are trying to do, and how we plan to do it - help simplify when things get complicated to manage end result, scope and budget

• Business Process Mapping & Optimization – Conduct end-to-end business process mapping (Procure-to-Pay, Opportunity-to-Cash) to identify inefficiencies and define target-state workflows.

• Testing Execution & Validation –

  • Ensure testing aligns with business processes and system configurations.

  • Conduct structured UAT workshops, ensuring business users validate key workflows before deployment.

• Change Management & Training –

  • Design training programs for business users to ensure smooth adoption of NetSuite, CRM, and integrated solutions.

  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and system guides tailored to various business functions.

• User Engagement & Feedback Loops –

  • Serve as the liaison between business teams and technical teams, ensuring user needs are reflected in the system configurations.

Data (25%) - Through deep understanding of functional side and benefits, manage the business and data resources to ensure we have the data necessary for successful testing and golive 

• Data Extraction & Cleansing – Partner with business and technical teams to define data templates, extract data from legacy systems, cleanse, transform, and validate for migration.

• Data Governance & Quality Assurance – Establish data validation rules, reconciliation checks, and ensure all migrated data maintains accuracy and consistency across systems.

• ETL Oversight & Migration Planning – Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for NetSuite, the CRM system, and integrated platforms.

• Data Load Testing & Verification – Conduct data migration test cycles, validating accuracy, integrity, and business readiness before go-live.

Technical (5%) - Understand enough to get in front of problems before they happen, challenge technical decisions and directions with technical teams and plan and prepare for testing that ensure high quality output

• ERP, CRM & SaaS Backend Integration Oversight – Ensure smooth integration between NetSuite (ERP), the CRM system, and Solink’s backend SaaS platform, aligning data models and APIs.

• Test Case Development & Execution – Oversee test case creation and validate system behaviors during UAT, SIT, and E2E testing cycles.

• System Integration & Data Mapping – Ensure integrations between NetSuite, the CRM system, Intercom, ZenDesk, and other tools support seamless business workflows.

• Post-Go-Live System Validation – Verify system performance, manage post-cutover defects, and drive continuous improvements.
