The Senior System Administrator role is a pivotal role in ensuring SpotMe’s global team members have the best IT tools and infrastructure to work securely, efficiently, and productively. IT administration is a core asset of our ability to deliver mission-critical services to our customers and a key differentiator in maintaining a secure and seamless work environment. You will own and become a subject matter expert on SpotMe’s corporate IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance, and continuously improving user experience.

As a Senior System Administrator you will be:

  • Owning and managing the SpotMe corporate IT infrastructure (150+ users, 120+ MacBooks, 60 applications with 15 administrators, 3 office networks), including tracking and maintaining all hardware and software assets (40%)
  • Leading and running corporate IT projects, such as those related to centralized identity and access management (20%)
  • Defining corporate IT scope, priorities, processes, SLAs, and escalations (10%)
  • Providing company-wide support through onboarding, offboarding, handling support requests, configuring and administering core IT applications like Google Suite and Atlassian tools (10%)
  • Continuously analyzing current processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement, particularly in user experience, cost, and productivity (10%)
  • Ensuring the SpotMe corporate IT infrastructure meets SpotMe security requirements and guidelines (10%)

Objectives - The problems you will solve

In your first 3 months:

  • Manage and triage all incoming IT requests within SLA.
  • Implement Apple Business Manager, ensuring all IT assets are enrolled.
  • Update and maintain all IT assets in our asset management tool.
  • Issue monthly reports on corporate tools license usage.
  • Research, shortlist, and select a new Endpoint Device Management solution.

After 6 months:

  • Implement the chosen Endpoint Device Management solution with full documentation.
  • Take over management of the WiFi network solution at our Lausanne office.

After 12 months:

  • Implement and run a network monitoring solution in both our Chicago and Lausanne offices.
  • Revamp all corporate IT processes and procedures.
