SCOPE:

We are seeking a Director of Distribution to drive growth and expand our presence in Texas (Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio). This is a newly created role dedicated to building strong traction in the state by developing strategic relationships with standard and non-standard independent agents and supporting our overall growth initiatives. 
This position offers a remote work arrangement, allowing the ideal candidate to work from their preferred location within the Southeast region.

DUTIES:

  • Market Expansion: Lead the Texas growth strategy, building relationships with independent agents to expand our footprint.
  • Agent & Broker Relations: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with independent agents, ensuring engagement and sales growth.
  • Sales & Distribution Management: Execute production plans, oversee commissions/overrides, and optimize distribution strategies.
  • Innovation & Technology: Leverage Salesforce, Tableau, and other analytics tools to drive insights and decision-making.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all distribution efforts align with Texas insurance regulations and market trends.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, marketing, and product teams to enhance our distribution network.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in business, communications, marketing, finance or related field Preferred, but not required
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • 220 license preferred but not required.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years of P&C insurance experience with a focus on auto distribution.
  • Established relationships with Texas non-standard agents and strong market insight.
  • Tech-savvy, innovative, and comfortable leveraging data analytics tools like Salesforce & Tableau.
  • Strong operational and sales acumen with experience in commissions, overrides, and growth strategies.
  • Ability to travel within Texas (Dallas, Houston, San Antonio) and as needed.
