The Role & What You Will Be Doing 

The Business Intelligence Analyst roles supports strategic vision in establishing Viatris Europe as the benchmark for commercial data and analytics innovation within the organization. It supports implementing the roadmap for commercial analytics across the Region including seamless integration with Global objectives. It also contributes to Viatris single source of truth and creation of dashboards that revolutionize performance insights. It operates at both a strategic and operational level, actively developing and testing solutions. This requires strong stakeholder engagement skills to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights, leveraging existing Viatris technologies while also exploring new solutions.

  • Develop end-to-end Power BI visualizations, including raw data processing, data modeling, metric calculations, and front-end design.
  • Customize and optimize local dashboards by gathering requirements from stakeholders, evaluating feasibility, and proposing solutions.
  • Provide self-service reporting support to end-users through guidance and instructions.
  • Implement and test new Power BI developments and rollouts, ensuring technical accuracy and data quality, while contributing to the evolution of next-generation visualizations.
  • Work with Microsoft Fabric and integrate sources such as Azure Synapse tables and views to build logic (pipelines, dataflows, etc.), enabling data management within Power BI models or data transfers to other systems (e.g., CRM).
  • Identify data and KPI gaps and opportunities, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure timely completion of deliverables as agreed upon with internal stakeholders.
  • Support the governance process and data model for global dashboards and Power BI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with local teams and IT to troubleshoot and enhance current deliverables, resolving issues as needed.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between local, regional, and global stakeholders, balancing local requirements with regional strategies and global infrastructure.

 

 

About Your Skills & Experience 

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences: 

 

  • At least 3 years of experience in Power BI reports creation, deployment from scratch and maintenance of existing data models and front-end.
  • At least 3 years of experience with SQL code and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (tables, views, join, and main SQL operations)/Azure environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Fabric: data lake, warehouse, pipelines, data flow, notebook, and synapse connector mainly.
  • PowerBI Dax and M-language deep knowledge.
  • Ability to start from raw data, clean it, build the data model and produce the final frontend understanding business needs.
  • Experience in working with SAP / Financial data preferred.
  • Experience in working with CRM / Veeva / Salesforce data preferred.
  • Experience in working with IQVIA data preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of English.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively work in a team and on their own.
  • Strong drive for success.
