The Role

Are you a go-getter with a passion for driving business growth? As a Business Development Manager at Cymax Group, you'll be at the forefront of expanding our eCommerce vendor network within the furniture industry and beyond. Your primary focus will be identifying and prospecting for new vendors, building strong relationships, and driving business growth.

What You’ll Do

Business Development:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our marketplace to generate quality leads.
  • Build long-lasting, quality relationships with potential partners to bring in new business.
  • Work with prospects to tell a compelling story about the Cymax brand and our products, demonstrating the value of joining us.
  • Gain comprehensive product knowledge through training and use it to cater to each prospect's needs.
  • Maintain an intimate understanding of our competitive landscape and confidently address potential partners' concerns.

Sales Process Management:

  • Manage the sales pipeline, including lead generation, identification, and qualification processes for maximum effectiveness.
  • Assess current sales processes to identify gaps and opportunities, driving optimization from concept to rollout.
  • Produce sales reports and manage sales information through our CRM tool to engage various stakeholders.
  • Act as the conduit between our data insights and sales targets by maintaining and synthesizing information in CRM and Confluence.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department on category target development, ensuring targets are clear and attainable.

Who You Are

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in sales and business development. Experience in the furniture industry an asset.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and pipeline management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and data management, with a focus on Excel.

Compensation

The Salary Range for this role is between $60,000 and $75,000 depending on experience. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. We offer a comprehensive range of benefits which includes:
