About the job
Your main purpose is to contribute to our efforts to reach the overall operational and financial goals within our Global Sales and Marketing team, focusing on Business Process and Technology and Sales Operations functions. You provide the extended management team with financial and operational information, insight, and advise enabling them to make the right business-critical decisions.
Participating in the development of business strategies and plans, including business performance management, KPI development and implementation, modeling, analysis, sensitivity checks, return on investment analysis, comments and advise on financial implications is an important part of your assignment. You play an instrumental role in the execution of key activities to ensure the performance of the key financial and operational KPIs.
Your responsibility include:
Defining right KPIs to measure operational performance management of each sub department, ensuring data points, availability of reports and analysis, including advise on improvement actions
Driving capacity efficiency and cost management analysis, advice and execution with the departments
Driving monthly performance business reviews within the Global Sales Operations, Business Process Technology teams
Preparation and distribution of all required financial and management reports, including analysis and follow-up on actual results versus targets and prior periods
Preparing the annual and rolling forecasts, targets, ad hoc business plans where you lead the instructions and guidance for local entities ensuring the right process and that the process follows compliantly
Follow up and define business plans, processes and actions in partnership with the various Sales Operations defined regions and monitor the financial results versus plans
Ensuring the efficient functioning, identifies the needs and develops financial and controlling process and systems that supports day to day execution
Interpreting, implementing and developing financial operating policies, provide/support/guide audits of commercial processes to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Participate/lead global projects/change initiatives within Global Sales & Marketing Controlling
In this role you will be a key member of the Global Sales Operations and Business Process Technology department’s Senior Leadership Management team and Global Sales & Marketing Controller network. The location for this position is flexible, with a preference for Sweden. Global travel is included in your job.
About you
We are looking for someone with a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent knowledge gained from work. You have proven experience in building, developing, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing professional controlling and/or operational teams. Knowledge in SAP and its process and understanding data management is required in this position. You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience working in a matrix environment is a must and we expect an interest in new digital solutions while knowledge in Power BI and Microsoft CRM is a plus. A service sector-related background and experience in operations and/or IT is a plus. Acting in a global setting calls for fluency in English, verbally and in writing. An analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deep dive and investigate the relation of data points are a must. Curiosity for learning, understanding what drives results, linking actions to results, and connecting details to the bigger picture are essential. You should be able to link each department's drive/purpose to the bigger picture and have a strong understanding of strategy. Comfort and effectiveness in a matrix organization with influential management skills are also required.
