Social Investment Managers and Advisors LLC (SIMA), a new generation, fast-growing impact investment manager (www.simafunds.com), with a unique business model and transparent culture, is looking for an IT Security professional with 2-5 years of experience to work with us as Associate/ Senior Associate. He /She will be directly reporting to the Head of Risk and will be responsible for managing IT Infrastructure across all the entities at SIMA.
We are a unique asset manager that has not only created some of the largest funds in the sector, but also created operating companies, such as an affordable fintech mortgage company. We have also started a charitable foundation, as not all impact investing interventions can be done commercially.
SIMA also provides advisory services to impact investors and companies working in solar energy, financial inclusion, affordable housing and education. We work in some of the poorest countries in the world in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. SIMA believes in transparency, inclusive decision-making and innovative thinking. SIMA is based in the U.S. with most staff in India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda and Mauritius.
Job Description
- Manage Microsoft 365 services (Azure AD, Exchange, Sharepoint, Teams) and Endpoint protection controls.
- Implement security controls for Microsoft 365 and cloud-based applications.
- Managing Cloud Infrastructure and security for hosting applications.
- Updation of Cybersecurity policy and maintenance.
- Implementation of cybersecurity best practices across the organization.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability management.
- Periodic checks on staff laptops with regards to antivirus and unauthorized software.
- Conducting knowledge sessions for all employees on hacks, attacks, phishing, etc. globally and within the Company.
- Automating the backup process of cloud data.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Computer Science degree.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong background in IT, cybersecurity, and IT risk
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate in English – written and verbal.
- Additional diplomas/certifications are a plus.
