Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient AU Loan Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the critical aspects of the loan application process, from data entry and document management to liaising with clients and lenders. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a focus on creating efficiencies that improve the overall processing workflow.


Job Description

As an AU Loan Processor, your responsibilities include the following:
  • File Management: Accurately name and save all loan-related files and documents in the appropriate system or database, ensuring easy access and proper organization for the team.
  • Client Data Entry: Input client information into the loan processing system with precision and attention to detail, ensuring all necessary data is complete and up-to-date.
  • Building Loan Applications: Assemble and prepare complete loan applications for submission to lenders, ensuring all required documentation is included and compliant with industry standards.
  • Developing Loan Solutions: Work closely with clients to gather financial information, analyze needs, and build loan solutions that best match their goals and qualifications.
  • Liaising with Lenders: Serve as a point of contact between clients and lenders, ensuring clear communication and the timely exchange of necessary documents and information for loan approval.
  • Client Communication: Send regular updates and request additional information from clients via email, ensuring they are informed and involved throughout the loan process.
  • Creating Efficiencies: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows, reduce turnaround times, and enhance overall productivity in the loan processing department.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the AU Mortgage Industry
  • Experience working for an Australian Client/Business is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in clear and simple language.
  • Previous experience in loan processing or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of loan processing systems or the ability to quickly learn new software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
