As they prepare for Series A, they’re looking for a Tech Lead to own end-to-end feature development, drive key technical decisions, and lead implementation in a small, agile team.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the architecture, design, and implementation of backend features, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Take technical leadership in a small, autonomous team ("cell"), guiding engineers on best practices, design choices, and AI integrations.
  • Define how AI-powered solutions (e.g., OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Claude, Cohere) will be used for automation, intelligent search, and decision-making.
  • Drive end-to-end development of key platform capabilities, from initial design to deployment.
  • Optimize and automate benefit eligibility verification, document processing, and fraud detection using AI-powered tools.
  • Ensure system reliability and efficiency, improving API performance, database optimization, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture focused on innovation and execution.
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI and backend technologies, evaluating tools and frameworks to enhance the platform.
What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Experience building secure, high-performance systems handling sensitive data.
  • Ability to mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a collaborative development culture.
