Job description

This is a remote position.

20 Hours/Week; Work Schedule: M-F 8am-12pm San Jose, CA time
Overview:
We're looking for a highly organized and proactive Podcast and Social Media Coordinator to assist with my two podcasts. This role involves managing all aspects of podcast production   except  audio editing, as well as handling social media scheduling and engagement. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can think critically, make recommendations, and execute tasks without requiring step-by-step instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
Podcast Management:
  • Episode Posting: Upload and schedule podcast episodes weekly on the podcast hosting service and my blog (WordPress with Elementor).
  • Show Notes & Clips: Use Opus Clips and FlowSend to generate and format show notes and video clips.
  • Guest Outreach:
    • Identify and reach out to potential new guests.
    • Notify past guests when their episodes go live.
  • Social Media Promotion:
    • Schedule and post video clips on social media platforms using Opus Clips.
    • Ensure promotional materials are properly tagged and shared to maximize reach.
Social Media Management:
  • Content Scheduling: Plan, schedule, and post content across platforms.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to messages and comments on Instagram, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Growth & Strategy: Suggest and implement engagement strategies to increase audience growth and interaction.
What I’m Looking For:
  • Someone who can think critically and make strategic recommendations, not just execute tasks.
  • A problem solver who can work independently without needing step-by-step instructions.
  • Familiarity with podcast production, WordPress (Elementor), and social media marketing tools.
  • Strong written communication skills for guest outreach and social media engagement.
  • Experience using Opus Clips, FlowSend, and podcast hosting platforms is a plus.
