Job description

Overview:

The Task Leader will be responsible for managing resource assignments from contractor staff to support projects within the 360 Productivity branch. This role involves producing weekly reports, presentations, and documentation, assisting with product roadmaps, performance and process improvements, and overseeing forward-looking initiatives. The Task Leader will ensure tasks are completed and delivered on time, identify project and operational risks, and assist in developing mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee resource assignments and manage contractor staff for project support.
• Produce weekly reports, presentations, and documentation as required.
• Assist in developing product roadmaps, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure task completion and timely project deliveries.
• Identify risks and support mitigation strategy development.
• Support operations management of Microsoft Office 365 (O365) services and legacy Lotus Notes applications.
• Provide operational and incident management support, including escalation and resolution.
• Manage service improvements, trend analysis, and VIP support.
• Support messaging services such as e-discovery, broadcast messaging, and business application integration.
• Provide technical guidance on messaging architecture, security requirements, and compliance measures.
• Conduct system security audits and implement enhancements using Microsoft Defender and Valimail for DMARC monitoring.
• Maintain in-place records retention for email and Microsoft Teams chats.
• Perform annual reviews and updates of project management plans, knowledge management articles, and SOPs.
• Evaluate new products and participate in roadmap planning for O365 services.
• Support initiatives from the Department of Transportation, including monthly phishing exercises.

Qualifications:

• FAA experience highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 services, messaging systems, and IT service management.
• Experience in process improvement, risk management, and technical support operations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
