Job description

What you'll be doing

You'll report into the Highlights Editor working within the TV Times Highlights team, that selects the best programming across the week for 14 pages of content for our heritage weekly TV guide. Using InDesign to compile pages and our in-house CMS Studio, you will write copy and pictures to the highest standard and, following house style, curate the must-see picks of the day for our readership.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Write high-quality engaging, relevant TV and film content to the brief agreed with the Editor-in-Chief
  • Curate images with which to create visually exciting content
  • Work collaboratively across the team
  • Excellent subbing and writing skills
  • Knowledge of print and digital production process
  • Knowledge of potential legal issues facing brands
  • A strong understanding of the audience
  • Good industry contacts, including PRs and experts and ability to maintain good relationships
