Position Title: Senior Scrum Master
Location: Remote - Colombia
What you will be doing:
As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate Agile processes and ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects while working closely with the team in India. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives, enabling teams to deliver value iteratively. Your ability to manage complex projects in dynamic environments will be essential in delivering impactful solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Guide teams in Agile principles to ensure alignment, focus, and iterative delivery of business value.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring teams stay on track to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Collaborate with Product Owners to define and prioritize the product backlog, focusing on maximizing business impact.
Remove impediments and provide necessary support to development teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Foster strong collaboration between stakeholders, development teams (including the India team), and external partners.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement in project efficiency and product outcomes.
Promote a culture of innovation, transparency, and accountability within Agile teams.
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of sprint progress, team performance, and project status.
Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
Scrum Certified with expertise in managing teams through agile practices.
Jira proficiency and strong project management skills.
Experience in managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
Organized with exceptional facilitation and communication skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.
Excellent facilitation and communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
